The Walking Dead
This is a horror serial drama of post-apocalyptic nature. If you love Zombies, this is the show to watch. Based on the Comic book series by Tony More, Robert Kirkman, and Charlie Adlard, The walking dead features an ensemble cast of survivors of the Zombie apocalypse who are trying to stay alive under the near-constant threat of zombies who are colloquially known as “Walkers.” However, due to the fall of humanity, these survivors also face conflict from other survivors who have formed communities and groups with their own set of morals and laws which often lead to hostile conflicts between them. Andrew Lincoln, whom you will remember from the great romantic film Love Actually, plays the lead character. The series has had an almost cult following and received excellent reviews from critics with an 81% critical response. It has been nominated for many different awards and has had more than 5 spin-off series. This is clearly one to watch.
