Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo is a Greek professional NBA player who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was born in Greece but to Nigerian parents and he started playing basketball from a young age with the Youth teams of Filathlitikos of Athens. He entered the NBA draft in 2013 and was selected as the 15th overall pick by the Bucks. His combination of size, nationality, and ball-handling skills earned him the nickname “Greek Freak.”

In 2016, he signed a $100 million contract with the Bucks and has received 4 All-Star selections so far, including the All-star captain in 2019 and 2020. He was also the NBA MVP player in 2019 and was the favorite to win in 2020.
